My trips are not syncing

Check that every device is signed in to the same Apple Account and that iCloud is on for Wanli: in the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, and turn on Wanli. Settings in Wanli shows whether iCloud Sync is on.

Giving a trip to someone else

Share the trip's code from the trip's share sheet. The other person scans it with Wanli and gets a trip of their own; later changes on either side are not shared.

Distances

The distance Wanli shows is the great-circle length between a trip's places. It is an estimate, not the distance you would travel by road, rail, or air.

Maps, borders, and names

Maps, borders, and place names come from Apple Maps, and country extents from Natural Earth. Wanli shows them as supplied and takes no position on any territory or name. Flags are drawn by FlagKit.
